Former Tiger in Swans line up

Ryan Quade, last years Under 21 Best and Fairest Player playing 1st
Grade football with the Tigers Club and currently training with the Sydney
Swans, has been announced as one of the senior grade players in the
Swans Squad to play Essendon at North Sydney Oval on Friday night.
Ryan ventured to Sydney last November with an opportunity of joining the
Sydney Swans on their rookie list, however missed selection. The Swans
Coaching panel determined Quadie as a prospect for the future and asked
him to continue training with the senior squad and offered him a place
in their Reserve Grade team for season 2005, with the possibility of placing
him on the rookie list next season.
This Friday’s opportunity to play amongst some of the elite players
in the AFL is a fantastic opportunity for one of our most popular young
players and everyone at the Tigers Club forward their best wishes on this
occasion.
