Jill Bright – one of the real Champions of the Tigers Football Organisation

Pictured is Jill Bright – one of the Tigers longest serving supporters who has assisted in a voluntary capacity manning the Tigers Scoreboard at the Margaret Donoghoe Sportsground for over twenty years.

Jill assisted her late husband Allan, who was better known in the organisation as “The Phantom” with the scoreboard until illness and his subsequent death in 2003 ended a magnificent period of support.

Jill has continued Allan’s legacy in the scoreboard in what is one of the most disliked positions sitting in the outer of the Sportsground highly regarded as the coldest part of the ground.

The Bright Family – Nicole, Jill and the late Allan are Foundation Members of the Tigers Licensed Club and tremendous sponsors and supporters of the Football Organisation.

Rarely has Jill missed a Tigers match wearing her familiar scarf and Tigers clothes to every game.

These days she is assisted in the scoreboard by youngsters Michael Rutherford and Darren Beer along with Alanna Beer.
