Pictured is Andrew Lieschke playing for the AFL Canberra Representative team against Queensland last Saturday in the curtain raiser match prior to the Brisbane Lions v Melbourne AFL fixture match at the Gabba. Two other Queanbeyan players represented AFL Canberra - Paul Williams and Mitch Daniher in the match won convincingly by Queensland - 18.14 (122) to 12.12 (84).

A number of players from the Tigers Club were unavailable to attend the match including selected squad members Renee Ioppi, Matt Liddle, James Geale, Luke Whatman, Jon Elias and Ryan Quade who is currently on the Sydeny Swans Reserve Grade list.
