"History of the Tigers 100 Club and Famous Faces"

During the recent Reunion of the Tigers 1985 1st and Reserve Grade Premiership victories, the Tigers Club launched yet another magnificent book.

Following up on its two previous history books, the first of which covered the period 1925 – 1988 and the next from 1989 to 1999, this book features the History of Individuals within the organisation since the inception of the Club in 1925 through to the most recent inclusion of individuals into the 100 Club and onto the Wall of Fame in 2005.

Launched at the Tigers 100 Club Dinner, the “History of the Tigers 100 Club and Famous Faces” includes photos of some 120 players /  officials who have been admitted to the Tigers 100 Club and or inducted onto the Wall of Fame situated in the Licensed Club.

In the rooms after the Tigers defeated Tuggeranong in their last home and away match ensuring the teams 24th successive finals appearance.  Includes a number of the 1985 Premiership Reunion players.

It is a true representation of a Club bound by history, magnificent people, loyal and dedicated to the continued development and ongoing success of the Tigers Club.

The book not only commemorates the 1985 Premiership victories but is also dedicated to two outstanding young men who lost their lives in car accidents Dane Quade on 27 November 1996 and Michael Haddock 24 December 2004. Both would have been tremendous individuals both on and off the field for the organisation had they not been lost through the most tragic of circumstances.

The book is available for sale through the Clubs email service of qtigers@tigersclub.com.au at $30 per copy plus postage. In addition a highlights package of the 1st Grade 1985 Premiership Grand Final is available on DVD for $20. Phone orders can be made on 02 62993467.
