Picturesque – Margaret Donoghoe Sportsground
In recent times, the Tigers home ground has had many additions to the
facilities available to the general public.
The most recent was the construction of a walkway from the car park to
the grandstand. This has enabled patrons – in particular our disabled
members – to gain easier access to areas of the ground which were
previously quite difficult to walk too due to the ground being wet underfoot.
The walkway accommodates plaques honouring our 200 1st Grade game players
with a complete history of each individual. It is unique to the Tigers
Club and yet another great example of the Club maintaining (and restoring)
its tremendous history since its inception in 1925.
