Wal Mason Jnr ¿ at age 85 !

Visiting the Tigers Licensed Club recently is 85 year old Wal Mason, pictured with Tigers Club Legend Alan Muir and Football Manager Ron Fowlie.

Alan Muir presented Wal two of the Tigers Club History Books which feature his father Wal Mason Snr who was the founding President of the Queanbeyan National Football Club in 1925.

Wal Mason Jnr was visiting Mrs Dallas Toone whose husband Bill was Treasurer of the Tigers Club in 1962 and 1963. WalÍs sister - the late Mrs Jack McNamara ¿ also features prominently within the Tigers organisation being the first lady Life Member of the Club in 1964 and who was married to Jack McNamara ¿ one of the most famous names in the Tigers Club from the late thirties into the early sixties.

They were extremely impressed with the Clubs memorabilia and in particular the Tigers Wall of Fame which features prominently Wal Mason Snr and Jack McNamara.
