Bing Lee takes on Tigers

Bing Lee Electrics Pty Ltd of Barrier St Fyshwick has
become a Major Sponsor of the Queanbeyan Tigers Club
for 2006.
Through Proprietors Peter Scott and Cathy Chaffey, Bing Lee
joins the ever increasing group of corporate sponsors who are associating
themselves with the Tigers Club.
In announcing the sponsorship, Tigers Club Chairman of Football Bob Gibbs
welcomed both Cathy and Peter to the organisation and hoped for a long
and successful association. Licensed Club Secretary Manager Scott Preston
said “Bing Lee could become a long term sponsor of the Club providing
the 5,000 strong membership base actively use the tremendous opportunities
now available to them through the store”.
All product brands sold through the Fyshwick Bing Lee
store will be promoted through various avenues of the Tigers Licensed
Club including membership draws and Friday night raffles.
Discounts will be available to all members and associates of the Club
on production of their respective membership card when visiting the store.
In addition the Tigers Licensed Club will conduct incentive type promotions
to members which will enable them to win sizeable products through the
Bing Lee store.
Proprietor Peter Scott - although a Rugby fan - is a former Queanbeyan
lad who played junior footy with the Tigers Club and is more than proud
to once again have an association with the Club. His partner Cathy has
been an avid fan of the Club since the early eighties during which the
Tigers commenced an era of success which extends to the Tigers 1st grade
team participating in 24 consecutive finals series up to and including
season 2005.
Bing Lee join The Bank Of Queensland, Swirl, Queanbeyan
Age, Gary Robb & Associates, TransACT, Coca Cola, Morrisons Newsagency,
Canberra Trophy Centre and TransACT as Major Sponsors
of the Club.
Dairy Farmers, Tobin Brothers, ActewAGL and CUB are the Clubs Major
Corporate Sponsors with The Tigers Licensed Club being its Major
Financial Contributor.
