No
one person has contributed to the Queanbeyan Tigers Club more than that
of Club Legend Alan Muir.
His sudden and unexpected passing on 2 February 2006 has certainly left
the Club with an enormous loss of terrific enthusiasm, loyalty, spirit
and guidance.
The Club has received an incredible amount of support from within the
community and indeed from around the globe with messages of condolences,
support and friendship in what will be a very difficult period for his
immediate family and the Tigers Club family.
For the record, the following is published in recognition of his loyal
and dedicated service to the Tigers Club spaning a period of over 60 years
when he commenced playing junior footy with the Tigers in the early forties.
