What a Mothers Day

Over 60 Ladies attended the Tigers Mothers Day function on the “Growlers Deck” of the Football Administration Block at Margaret Donoghoe Sportsground last Sunday.

It was a tremendous afternoon with ladies from both Queanbeyan and Ainslie mingling together enjoying magnificent sunshine, a variety of champagne and wines and fantastic food (provided by Tigers Committee Member Patrick Exton of SWIRL Café in Kingston”) If that wasn’t enough each lady in attendance received a beautiful carnation plus chocolates and table service from members of the growlers club.

Our many thanks are extended to Patrick Exton and Craig Hall for the catering and manning the BBQ throughout the afternoon, to Roger Cuschieri (chief washer up era), and to Frank Palombi, Mal Corcoran and Bill Doran for their table service.

A great afternoon off the field – not matched by the Tigers on field performances during a match which the Kangaroos gave us a right old touch up posting an incredible 11 goals in the final quarter.

Pictured are many of the Ladies in attendance enjoying the Tigers Hospitality. Also pictured is the new growlers deck complete with function set up for the day.
