Tigers Long Luncheon

250 people attended the 12th Annual Tigers Long Luncheon on Wednesday 27th September at the Queanbeyan Conference centre. The afternoon provided a number of activities for those in attendance highlighted by the appearance of former Australian Cricketer Kerry O'Keeffe as Guest Speaker. Master of Ceremonies John Kehoe welcomed all in attendance including the Clubs many Corporate Sponsors.

During the afternoon Major Corporate Sponsor Garry Sykes presented the No. 5 playing jumper to the Tigers latest recruit for 2007 in former Sydney Swans player Mark Powell. The No. 5 jumper being vacated by Luke Ellis who is leaving the Club in a move to Adelaide. Local Real Estate Agent Col Maxwell conducted the auction which included a signed 2006 Sydney Swans Premiership jumper and a magnificent signed portrait of Ron Barassi. The Long Luncheon culminates a busy AFL Canberra season.
