2025 McDonalds Queanbeyan Cup

Our 4th Annual 2025 McDonald’s QBN Cup is all set to go with a slight twist.

 

With AFL Canberra & AFL Sydney Women’s moving into the Preseason Invitational set for March – we have decided to move the QBN Cup into a new direction and provide this successful platform to the Under 18s Men’s & Women’s teams thus adding much needed exposure, recruitment opportunities and game time for our male & female players.

 

The growth of the QBN Cup tournament over the past 3yrs has been sensational and now with this change we now get to showcase our 18s male & female talent across our regions!

In 2025 we welcome 8 Male & 8 Female teams from around the state who will compete for this year's Title.

 

The carnival is set for Friday 21st to Sunday 23rd February at Patches Asphalt Park, Queanbeyan. Please note Friday night pool games will be set for teams within the region with travelling teams to be allocated Saturday / Sunday games unless contacted. 

 

It is a Round Robin tournament with Prize Money set for the top 4 teams in each section being – $1,200.00 Winner - $800.00 R/Up - $400 3rd & 4th place.

 

Matches, it will be a 16 a side 5/6/5 and club squads can be up to 24 max. with 2 x 12min halves with a minimum 3 pool games.

 

Competition Guidelines & Rules i.e. team sheets, last touch out of bounds between arcs, 25mtr penalties etc. in consultation with the umpires dept. will be advised closer to the event.
