2021 Recruitment starts with a bang!

Season 2020 still has a month to go however the Tigers have begun their 2021 recruiting campaign with

Edgar joins the cub after moving to Canberra with partner Tarsh for work and comes to the club with some solid experience and performances in Melbourne where he studied at University.

With having 2019 off to complete studies, Isaac came of a 2018 B&F season with Lalor in the NFL Div 3 which also seen him claim a place in the 2018 NFL div 3 team of the year.

Isaac has also played at St Marys seniors footy Club 2016, Heidelberg div 1 seniors 2015 and won a Reserves B&F and Premiership for the the powerful Albury Tigers in 2012.

He was also a member of both the Murray Bushrangers and NSW/ACT Rams in 2012.

“I loved the look and feel of the club, can’t wait to get stuck into 2021 footy and make the tigers my new home” Edgar said

GM of Football Adrian Pavese was thrilled to gain Edgar’s commitment

“To have a player like Isaac come to town from a really good footy background and choose us was awesome”

“We can’t wait to welcome Isaac and Tarsh full time to the footy club” he added

5th Tigerette to join the 100 Club!

In the dictionary under the definition of earning your way and hard work will pay off, the words should

The ultimate Tigers club person affectionately known as Godders will become the 94th Player and only the 5th Tigerette to be inducted into the prestigious 100 Club when she runs out against Tuggeranong this weekend.

Megan joined the Tigers in 2014 and touch wood has been one of the Tigerettes most durable players only missing a handful of games over the past 6 years on her way to this magical milestone.

What also makes the achievement even more remarkable is Godders has held down the senior ruck position for the majority of her career.

The extremely popular Godfrey is respected by her peers and the footy club and her want to keep the club striving forward has seen her serve as a board member on the senior club board for the past 3 years.

She now joins fellow Tigerettes Hannah Dunn (134), Lani Watson (134), Kristen Argent (nee Turner) (122) and Carly Res (101) into the 100 Club.

We don’t know what lies ahead for Megan post 2020 but one things for sure, she will be driving the women’s squad until the last week of the season and won’t let this year slip out of the Tigerettes grasp!
