Gilbo front 2nd from the left!

While most of us are still enjoying the off season and or just starting to get back into some preseason work, our very own Jordan Gilbert is currently touring Ireland as part of the Wanderers Australia AFL Team.

The current Alan Muir Medalist is enjoying the mixture of Gaelic Football and traditional Aussie Rules as they take on Ireland’s best.

The team are currently two from two with a solid wins over Lucan GAA and Limerick GAA. The team has had the tour of the famous Croke Park as part of the trip and are doing plenty of sightseeing as well.

To stay in touch with Jordan’s tour you can go to the Wanderers Australia Facebook page for more updates.

Community Service – Tigers Volunteers

Approximately 20 volunteers attended the Queanbeyan Isabella Primary School last Sunday morning led by the effervescent Josh Bryce who captained the group with numerous gardening activities at the school.

A huge thank you to those who attended.

The Isabella school has forwarded their thanks and appreciation through Claire and Gary Bullivant.

The volu

nteer group were involved in spreading mulch around the garden beds and weeding of garden plots through the main area of the school.

Particular thanks to Southside and Beyond Garden Maintenance for supplying the equipment and transport to remove the garden waste.

Another Community Service provided by the Tigers Football Club in 2019.
