The Tigers held it’s 2019 camp last Saturday with the theme being “Giving Back” to our Community and Partners!

Over 100 players took to the field for an early morning training session followed by our Leadership and Values Sessions. After a short break the players were divided up into groups and sent out into the community for their respective duties.
Venues visited and provided assistance were:
HOME QBN – duties performed were cleaning of windows, making beds, moping of floors and general maintenance.
ST Vincents De Paul & Salvation Army – sorting of donations, folding and shop clean up and maintenance.
QPRC – assistance in setting up for the Symphony in the Park event.
Junior Tigers – mail drop for Junior Registrations and Auskick information within the Googong area.
Partners Ciao Cafe and Domino’s – cleaning of equipment and car parks plus general assistance.
We then finished with the Head Shave of Jeremy Bridger, who after 3 years lopped off his locks in support of the Tigers Solomon Island trip. The final total of his fundraising efforts was an incredible $2.4k.
It was a truly rewarding day for the club and we would like to thank everyone involved for the opportunity.
Following the conclusion of the camp the players, support staff and volunteers joined a number of other people for the Tigers Reverse Draw Function. Over 200 people packed the Tigers Club for the draw with lot’s of fun and laughter throughout the afternoon.
Winners of the Draw were – 1st Prize Tanya Burgess / 2nd Prize Franca Jones / 3rd Prize MWL Air Conditioning.
Thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and supported our fundraiser.
