A First for the NEAFL

The Tigers will create a first at NEAFL level (and perhaps on the Eastern seaboard at any equivalent or higher standard of football) with the appointment of a female to its senior grade coaching ranks for 2014.

NEAFL Co-Coaches Kade Klemke and Josh Bryce have announced the appointment of Bec Goddard as the Clubs Opposition Coach.

The position has been created to assist with the ever increasing professional nature of the NEAFL competition.

Bec Goddard has a long family history with AFL in the district with both her Father Robb and Grandfather Frank being distinguished officials / players of the Belconnen Magpies Club through the sixties, seventies, eighties and early nineties.
