The Queanbeyan Tigers Annual Long Luncheon is set to be another entertaining afternoon with two great guest speakers.
Brent “Boomer” Harvey – retired at the end of the 2016 AFL season along with a host of other North Melbourne players. He ended his AFL career as the all-time games record holder with 432 games.
At only 167cm he had a reputation as an ultra-competitive, quick player who was able to run out games strongly.
Troy Gray – at just the age of 19, Troy was best on ground in the Tigers 1991 First Grade premiership win before being drafted by the Sydney Swans.
He was later traded to St Kilda as part of the package that saw Tony “Plugger” Lockett join the Swans. Troy went on to be involved in television and radio, and presented the news on the Nine Network in Adelaide. Troy will also be our MC.
Costs
As well as the entertaining guest speakers, the function includes two course meal, beverages, auction and raffle throughout the afternoon.
Former Queanbeyan Tiger, former Swan and former Saint, Troy Gray is now a media personality. He’ll be both guest speaker and MC for the afternoon.
