Sean (pictured right) has been a very good player for the Tigers since joining the club in 2009.

Sean Kelly has won two premiership medals playing for the Tigers Reserve Grade in 2009 & 2010, then took a year off due to University commitments in 2011 and for most of 2012 was in outstanding form with the Tigers Division 1 team.

Unfortunately he suffered a major facial injury mid season which required surgery that ended his 2012 campaign.

But in true spirit he his determined to be fit for the 2013 season and in doing so raise awareness of breast cancer through the McGrath Foundation.

He along with Tom Kelly are riding bikes from Taralgon via Melbourne to Cairns and left on 29 December and expect to arrive in Cairns on 26 January. The journey up the East Coast of Australia covers approx 4,000 kms. There are no planned rest days and they will average 130 km a day.

Tom lost his grandmother through breast cancer while he also suffered testicular cancer in October 2011.

If you would like to support this very worthy cause and indeed our very own Sean Kelly please log onto www.melbourne2cairns.org for more information and ways of supporting this very worthy benefit.
