Could it be Back to Back to Back???

The Tigers Reserve Grade team have entered their 6th successive Grand Final with a comprehensive 45 point victory over last years grand final opponents Belconnen Magpies at Manuka Oval last Saturday.

The game never reached any great heights with only a point separating the two teams at half time.

After the break, the big game experience of many of the Queanbeyan lads proved to be the difference with a six goal last quarter paving the way for the Clubs 9th appearance in eleven years in the Reserve Grade Grand Final.

Up forward Daniel Campbell once again provided a strong target posting six goals. After a quite second semi final Dave Corcoran bounced back into contention with a live wire attacking game that inspired many of his fellow team mates.

Good performances over four quarters were hard to find but Ryan Price for the second week in succession proved his experience at NEAFL has gained him maturity to take his game to another level.

The Tigers will have to take their game up a few notches to be competitive against what looks like being a strong Ainslie Grand Final opponent – the Tricolours having the luxury of all their players being available for selection with both their two senior grade teams in the respective grand finals.

The Tigers will have a Grand Final Supporters Marquee available on the far side of the ground and welcome as much black and gold at the ground in support of a possible three peat of premierships for this grade under the guidance of Adrian Pavese and this year co coach Brain Campbell.
