Family business partners with family club

The Tigers pride themselves on being a “family club” where everyone feels welcome and valued. It is with pride that we announce a new arrival to the family with Lo Pilato Brothers coming on board as a major corporate sponsor in 2017.

Brothers Felix, Robert and Remo were enticed by Tony Lo Pilato to support the Tigers where Tony’s son Anthony is making his way into senior football.

Lo Pilato Brothers is a landscape and excavation business that has been operating in Canberra for over 50 years. They cater to all excavating and earth moving contractors, retail landscape supplies and sand, soil and gravel needs.

Through his membership on basketball committees, Tony Lo Pilato is well aware that community-based sports teams like the Tigers rely heavily on the support of the business community.

Teresa Lo Pilato speaking on behalf of  Lo Pilato Brothers said the family business was proud to be supporting the Tigers, especially with young Anthony having joined the Tigers after leaving high school at St Edmunds.

“We are a strong family, and saw that the Tigers had a great history and reputation that aligned well with our family business,” Teresa said.

“We hope that with our support the Tigers can continue their success.

“Tony seems to love coming along to Tigers games, not only to support Anthony, but to support the whole club in general.

“We are happy to bring our family into the Tiger family and look forward to seeing some great success,” Teresa said.

We encourage all of our supporters, especially those in construction needing to hire an excavator, loader or truck, or anyone in need of landscape supplies to give Lo Pilato Brothers a call on 6260 1295 or drop into their yard at 13 Arnott St, Hume.
