Last Chance for NEAFL and Tigers Rising Stars.
Crunch time has arrived for the Tigers two Minor Premiership teams as they play off in the preliminary final on Saturday at Manuka Oval for a chance to play off in the following Grand Finals.
The Tigers NEAFL team meet Eastlake at 2.00pm while the Under 18 Grade Rising Stars will once again have the most difficult conditions of the day with a 9.30am game against Belconnen.
Returning to the NEAFL team will be Andrew Swan who has dominated the centre half back position throughout season 2012 but missed last weeks encounter against the Swans Reserves with a knee problem.
His inclusion will be a welcome addition to a team desperate to have another crack at premiership favourites – the Sydney Swans.
There will be a number of other players up for selection who played Division 1 last Sunday but based on the performance of the Tigers NEAL team against the Swans there should be few surprises.
The Tigers Under 18 grade team will need to reinvent themselves this Saturday if they are to advance to the Grand Final. They have had a fantastic year but that counts for nothing if that form cannot be reproduced come crunch time.
