Daniel Campbell – Queanbeyan Tigers The Tigers Daniel Campbell has been selected as the NAB Rising Star for the Eastern Conference of the NEAFL competition for Round 1.
Daniel excelled in the opening game of the NEAFL season for the Queanbeyan Tigers posting four goals against the Tuggeranong Hawks at Dairy Farmers Park.
Daniel is affectionately known as “Piggy”. He has worked particularly hard during the off season to gain fitness levels that will enable him to play senior grade football for the Tigers at the NEAFL level.
“Piggy” has an uncanny ability to find the goals even in difficult circumstances. He provides an alternate goal scoring option to that of the Tigers prolific goal kicker James Kavanagh.
He has posted two goals in each game of the opening two rounds this year.
