Our sponsor of footballs

One Agency

After finishing as the number one team in both First Grade and Women’s Division Two in 2015, the Queanbeyan Tigers are pleased to announce local real estate agency, One Agency Blewitt Properties, is on board again as sponsor of match-day and training footballs.

“Providing equipment at a club like ours, where we field four senior grades – First Grade, Second Grade, Rising Stars (U18s) and Women’s teams – is relatively expensive,” said Michael Goiser, Tigers General Manager Football Operations.

“Football clubs, or any sports team for that matter, rely heavily on the generous support of the local business community.

“Having One Agency sign on again as sponsor of our footballs means that a significant expense is taken care of for us,” said Michael.

The Tigers expect to go through up to 50 new footballs for the 2016 season – new red balls for home match days and team warm-ups, and yellow balls for night time training sessions. All new balls carry the One Agency Blewitt Properties logo.

“Needing up to 50 footballs for the season is a far cry from the early days of the club when Minutes from a meeting back in the 1940s recorded an agreement that the team be permitted to buy one football for training for the entire year,” Michael said.

Principal of One Agency Blewitt Properties, Brenden Blewitt (pictured above with wife Tanya) said he was looking forward to continuing a partnership started last year with the Tigers and to seeing them thrive, much like his business.

“Our real estate agency is expanding across Australia and is being called a ‘revolution in real estate’.

“As Principal of local branch One Agency Blewitt Properties, I’m absolutely committed to achieving the best possible results for our clients, and I see us as a great fit for the Tigers who are also striving for great results.

“Some of our clients have ties to the football club and we are very pleased to be able to show our support for a great club that is widely respected throughout the community,” said Brenden.

There are plenty of homes games in the back end of the 2016 season where you’ll see One Agency branded red footballs flying around Allinsure Park.
