Other Tigers winners on the night were from left: Pav - Women's Coach of the Year, Tegan Tisma - Women's Junior Player of the Year, Michael Kennedy - Hall of Fame, Hannah Dunn - Women's Team of the Year and Daniel Campbell - Reserve Grade Leading Goalkicker.

A surprised and Honoured Michael Kennedy.

Tegan and Hannah had great years with the Tigerettes.

In his first year with the Tigers Daniel Campbell kicked 56 goals between 1st and 2nd Grade.

Tigers player Brett Fruend capped off his best year in Tigers colours by winning the 2011 Reserve Grade League Medal at the Gala Presentation Night last Wednesday.

Fruey played 13 games in the seniors this year as well as 5 in the reserves and kicked a combined 37 goals between grades. He also had standout games in both grades that has shown the Tigers Coaching Staff that his best is still in front of him. Paul Franchi was a close second by a vote.

It was a good night for the Tigers as Michael Kennedy was inducted into the AFL Canberra Hall of Fame, Roachy has been a big part of the Tiger History and it was great to see him recognised will the award.

In the Women’s Division our Tigerettes are starting to get rewarded for their hard work with Tegan Tisma being awarded the Junior Player of the Year and Hannah Dunn adding to her already impressive football resume being named in the Women’s Team of the Year.

Tigers Stars Todd Dickinson (interchange) and James Kavanagh (fwd pocket) were named in the NEAFL Eastern Team of the Year, congratulations boys.

Jarrod Moore and Daniel Currie were the joint winners of the NEAFL Eastern Best and Fairest on 16 votes with our own Toby Conroy placing 5th on 11 votes. Well done Toby.

With the season winding down the Reserves have one last chance to make the Grand Final as they take on Belconnen tomorrow at Manuka Oval.

The boys have trained hard this week after going down to Ainslie in the 2nd Semi and will have their work cut out as they try and defeat a strong Belconnen team. In saying that our boys have been great for the last 4 years and you don’t win back to back flags if you can’t step up so we look forward to an improved performance in the Preliminary Final.

Reserves v Belconnen Saturday 10th September Manuka Oval 11.30am
