The Tigers most prestigious evening is no doubt the Tigers 100 Club Function.

Last Saturday evening former players mixed with the current crop of youngsters and witnessed many player achievements which were acknowledged during the night. A feature of the evening was the induction of 200 Club Game players Dennis Quade and Renee Ioppi into the Tigers Wall of Fame along with long time supporter Jill bright who received a standing ovation as she walked to the podium. Jill has witnessed most every Tigers game since her teenage years and never wavered once in her support of the club through some very difficult times and some of the best. Her continued support as chief fundraiser for the junior organisation and as an “assistant” to Michael Rutherford (and others) on the scoreboard has not been lost on the Club.

Jill became the first ever lady to be admitted to the Wall of Fame. During her induction former legendary player Michael Goiser spoke of her commitment and love of the Tigers Club and in doing so also announced that the first ever Best and Fairest Award to be presented to a member of our Ladies team would be known as the Jill Bright Medal.

MC Paul Walshe once again excelled in the manner in which he conducted the evening presenting yet another magnificent DVD History of the Club covering 85 years since its inception.

Triple Premiership Coach James Dore introduced members of the 2000 Premiership team in attendance at their 10 Year reunion.
