Part of the 100th Year Gala Weekend Celebrations to be held the weekend 5 – 7 April 2024.

In anticipation of enormous off field activities in 2024 commemorating the 100th Year - the Club at its Gala Dinner on Saturday 6 April 2024 will unveil a Team of the Century that will be selected from an imports team and locals’ team – that will be also announced on the night.

In addition, a Legends Team of the Tigerettes from their inception in 2010 will also be announced.

The Tigerettes Legends Team will be selected by Robert Anderson, Chris Clifton, Adrian Pavese and Joan Vosnakes.

The Gala Dinner to be held on 6 April 2024 coincides with the clubs first Annual General Meeting in 1925 and is expected to attract former associates from around the country in what is expected to be a fantastic three-day celebration.

It will encompass Friday night activities at the Tigers Home Ground with the opening of a Heritage Jumper Display and the release of the Third Edition of Tiger, Tiger Burning Bright – a publication covering the history of the Club since the Year 2000 – which compliments the two previous history books which will also be available for purchase over that weekend.

Saturday will see the Tigers take on Ainslie in the opening round of the season in both Men’s and Women’s 1st Grade matches followed by the Gala Dinner. It will be at the Gala Dinner that the Interstate and Local players Team of the Century Squads will be announced followed by the Tigerettes 2010 - 2023 Legends Team and Overall Men's Team of the Century will be announced.

Also on the Saturday will be the elevation of the clubs No.4 & No.5 Legends!

On Sunday a BBQ Breakfast will be supplied at the footy ground along with a Golden Oldies match followed by the “digging up” of a Time Capsule placed in the confines of Aulich Park during the 75th Reunion 25 years ago.

In coming days – a full list of activities for the Gala weekend as well as the release of ticket costs (GOLD - 3-day ticket), (SILVER - 2-day ticket) and (BRONZE - Gala Dinner Ticket) associated with the weekend so that interstate associates can plan and book the weekend in advance.
