"Lauren Flakelar to celebrate her 100th First Grade Game and is the 7th Tigerette and 98th overall to reach the magical 100 Club Full Membership"

She is one of the most popular members of the tigers footy club, she always has a smile,

ree

never says a bad word about anyone and gives her beloved tigers everything she has to give!

But when Lon crosses the white line you wouldn't find a harder and more determined player that has a never say die attitude for her team and teammates.

In the Tigerettes short 12 year history, we are now seeing more and more father / daughter combinations as we get older as a club. This wonderful achievement for Lon stands as a first where one of not many tigers female players can lay claim to playing more games for the tigers than their father.

ree

Lon's father Darcy played 34 games for the Tigers and now his daughter becomes part of the clubs proud 100 game history this Sunday.

She made her debut in 2014 and has not missed a step along the way being a multiple Premiership Player and two time Reserve Grade Best & Fairest.

What sets her apart, was for the past two years as the 1st Grade were very dominant Lon went back to the reserves and helped guide our young and inexperienced players and led the way with lifting the standards.

The great reward for her, is now that the rebuild is just about through to the next stage Lon finds herself back in the seniors and doing what she does best - never beaten in a contest and it is all about the team.

From everyone at the club Lon - Congratulations!

While not achieving Academy and or higher levels of football during your journey, you have shown us all that playing 100 games for your club and building life long friendships at the Tigers is just as rewarding!!

Our Principal and Oval Naming Rights Partner Aulich has pledged their ongoing commitment to the Queanbeyan Tigers by signing on for a further 2 years that will include the clubs 100th Birthday in 2024!

ree

"We are thrilled" said GM Adrian Pavese

"The club has secured some big partnerships for the long term over the past few months and knowing you have all this support from the business community has been very humbling"

ree

"And now that we have secured our Principal Partner for the next two years is the cherry on top. Aulich have been a wonderful addition to our partnership base over recent years and we are extremely grateful that they see our football club as the community grass roots organisation they want to invest in" he added.

The Partners of Aulich echoed Pavese's comments,

“We are thrilled to be able to sign on with the Queanbeyan Tigers for another two years as their Principal and Oval Naming Rights Partner"

"As a Canberra organisation, we understand how important community is and the community at the Queanbeyan Tigers is second to none.” – Aulich

It is never lost on the club how valuable partnerships are to keep great organisations like the tigers ticking over. The Tigers thank Aulich for their continued support and to all of our other Major Corporate, Major, Match Day and General Partners who have signed on for 2023 - thank you!

Our relationships with our partners are never taken for granted and are truly valued and appreciated.
