Former Carlton & Melbourne star Jeff Garlett and former GWS, Richmond & Gold Coast star Anthony Miles are set to headline the visiting Albury Tigers squad when they head to Queanbeyan next Saturday 6th March in what promises to be a big day at Aulich Park.

Albury are highly regarded as one of the most successful Ovens & Murray League clubs in recent history with the Tigers playing in 10 straight Grand Finals from 2009 to 2018 and winning 8 Premierships.

The Queanbeyan players have been doing the hard yards for some weeks and this now leads the squad into the first of their 3 Trial Games starting next Saturday. There has been a changing of the guard post Premiership and the squad has come together well leading into the first trial.

The last time these two sides met was in the 2014 Preseason when the Tigers NEAFL squad headed down to Wodonga. This should be a beauty and we hope to see plenty of Tigers come along and enjoy the day.

It kicks of with the Reserves Men followed by the 1st Grade Men then finishing off with the Women's Reserves who take on ADFA.

It is free entry for the day with Full Bar and Canteen facilities available as well as the Merchandise Tent that will be selling our new 2021 range, see you all next week.

Last Saturday the Queanbeyan Tigers held it's 2021 Players Camp followed by the Annual Preseason Reverse Draw Function.

It was another great day where over 70 Senior men & women players plus another 20 volunteers rocked up to Aulich Park Saturday morning.

Both squads were put through their team structures, match simulations and fitness drills. After morning tea the squads finished the day off by combining together for a series of games and team work stations.

Once finished the players where treated to a big BBQ lunch that was provided by the volunteers and from there into the Reverse Draw function later that afternoon.

Over 180 people attended the popular event to see which ticket would be the last one drawn out and with over 450 tickets in the barrel, it took a while to find a winner.

The pressure mounted as the last few tickets drew closer and the anticipation was there for all to see. Finally there could only be 1 winner with club volunteer and Tigers Stalwart Wally Gisik being the last ticket drawn. (Last 6 Tickets listed below)

We thank everyone who purchased a ticket and supported our fundraiser, the club truly values and appreciates all of the support!
