Community Service – Tigers Volunteers

Approximately 20 volunteers attended the Queanbeyan Isabella Primary School last Sunday morning led by the effervescent Josh Bryce who captained the group with numerous gardening activities at the school.

A huge thank you to those who attended.

The Isabella school has forwarded their thanks and appreciation through Claire and Gary Bullivant.

The volu

nteer group were involved in spreading mulch around the garden beds and weeding of garden plots through the main area of the school.

Particular thanks to Southside and Beyond Garden Maintenance for supplying the equipment and transport to remove the garden waste.

Another Community Service provided by the Tigers Football Club in 2019.

Premiership Tigers Drafted!

What a day, what a week, what a year it has been for your Queanbeyan Tigers with 3

Premiership players from our Women’s Div 1 team drafted yesterday to the AFL Women’s Competition for 2020 and capping off a stellar 2019.

Hannah Dunn (Gold Coast), Lexi Hamilton (Gold Coast) and Jackie Parry (Melbourne) will now have the chance to play on the big stage when the competition kicks off next February. The club will also have two coaches (one former and one current) appointed to AFLW team coaching panels for 2020 with an announcement to follow in the coming days.

11. GWS Scholarship Winner

12. An AFL Academy Selection plus multiple representative and state/national selections across all grades junior and senior!!

Season 2019 Finishes with a Bang!

The Queanbeyan Tigers held it’s Annual Wynd & Bright Medal Presentation Event last Friday night at the Southern Cross Club.

Over 230 guests packed into the venue to see who would be crowned this years winners plus acknowledging and thanking our fantastic Partners, QBN Rotary and Volunteers for what has been another sensational season at Tigerland!
