Club Captain Ryan Quade will play his 200th League game when taking the field of play on Sunday at Dairy Farmers Park against Sydney University. The Clubs popular and outstanding leader has 183 games to his credit wearing the black and gold plus 16 games with the Sydney Swans Reserves when playing as a rookie in 2005.
There are not too many players who have premierships with two clubs in the one League – a distinction that Quadie has achieved – being part of the Swans AFL Canberra Premiership in 2005 and then as Captain of the Tigers in their historic NEAFL Eastern Conference Premiership last season.
He leads by example and has been inspirational during his period of time with the Tigers particularly during the past two years with a relatively young side (and Coach) to mentor and correspond with.
