90 Year Dinner Attracts Former Players and Officials
The Tigers 90 Year Dinner has attracted many players from interstate .
Heading that list will be triple Premiership Coach (1998,1999 and 2000) James Dore travelling from Brisbane for the event.
Indeed there will be plenty of former players who have represented the Club in Grand Finals and Premiership teams from around the country.
The triple premiership teams under Dore’s reign will have plenty of representation as will the triple Reserve Grade teams of Adrian Pavese being the period 2009,2010 and 2011.
Some of the older brigade in attendance will be former Club President Dave Imrie, former Club Secretary Alan McDonald and former player and Team Manager Brian Walshe.

Some of the hardest years for the footy club during its 90 Year history included the 60’s and 70’s and this era will be represented by former players in Alan Williams, Ken Campbell, Peter Cmiel, Marion Borowski, Ross Res and legendary goal kicker Mal Wheeler.
Team Management has been an important ingredient for success of the Club with the late Col Pulford (late fifties early sixties) being represented by son Terry and grandson Todd on the evening. The late and great Alan Muir will be represented by his entire family.
Representing Stan Mason – one of the co-founders of the Club – will be his great great grandson Jack Carrol-Tape – a playing member of the Tigers Under 18 Grade Rising Stars team.
There will be many more in attendance of which should be a fantastic occasion for the oldest club in the League. Many Members of the Tigers 100 Club LEGENDS team will be in attendance and awarded due recognition by way of an individual plaque.
A DVD covering the history of the Tigers will conclude the evening. MC for the 90 Year Dinner will be Paul Walshe – face of the Tigers 100 Club Dinners.
The face of the Tigers Club in the media this past week has been the one and only Bob Griffin and he is sure to liven up the occasion as a spritely 78 year old Legend.

The 90 Year celebrations commence on Saturday at Dairy Farmers Park with the Tigers NEAFL team taking on Belconnen at 2.00pm. The Tigerettes will play ADFA at 11.30am in the curtain raiser.
A function to acknowledge the renovations of the grandstand by business houses and volunteers and to the financial contributors of the project will take place from 12 Noon. Included in this will be the naming of the Tigers Grandstand.
