Promising Junior Tiger Thomas Christou injures knee.

The Christou Family and the Queanbeyan Tigers Junior Football Club were dealt a blow last week with the news that promising U14 junior Thomas Christou needs a full knee reconstruction following the Round 1 win versus Goulburn.

Thomas joined the tigers last year and has shown great improvement in the game giving the Tigers belief that he will be a future star at the club. In a great start to his Aussie Rules career Thomas played 14 games in his first season and was a member of the U12 Queanbeyan/Goulburn Tigers Premiership Team.

He was also a member of the Jerrabomberra PS James Hird Cup Team that won the 2010 Canberra Division Title defeating Radford at Manuka Oval.

It is going to be long recovery for Thomas and the Junior and Senior Tigers wish him and the family all the best with the road ahead.
