"FOOTY IS BACK"

It's been a huge preseason and with the Senior Competition still 3 weeks away, we look forward to the return of the Community League this weekend featuring our Super Two's Women's team.

We head to Alan Ray Oval to play along side our affiliate club and great friend the Googong Hogs. The club would like to wish Sam, Josh and the entire Hogs organisation all the very best for the 2021 season.

The Super Two's team will once again be coached by Kenny Sissons and with a rebuild currently underway in our women's program, Kenny will have plenty of new players making their Queanbeyan Tigerettes debut this Saturday.

Following on from back to back Grand Final appearances (2019/20) in the Women's Community League, 4 consecutive 1st Grade Grand Finals (2017 to 2020 including Premierships 2017/2019) as well as 5 Drafted AFLW players since 2017, the club has been thrilled with the output from all involved in the Tigerettes Program.

It's an exciting new era for the Tigerettes as we head into our 12th season. A big turnover of players post the 2020 season hasn't stopped the enthusiasm currently on show in the women's AFL space with the club still having over 60 players on their books - the future looks very bright for the club.

We all look forward to seeing what the next 10 years has in store for the club and it starts Saturday, get along to Alan Ray Oval and cheer on our Mighty Tigerettes.
