Tigerettes played Division 1 top side Eastlake at Kingston and although losing the game 9-7-61 to 1-2-8 the we showed a lot of character and that we have the potential to compete with top sides in Division 1.
The highlight of the match was keeping the powerful Eastlake side scoreless in the third quarter and although only managing one goal for the quarter the Tigerettes completely dominated play and very unlucky not to score more.
The Tigerettes attack on the ball at various stages throughout the game and particularly in the 3rd quarter really put Eastlake on the back foot.
During the match all players made solid contributions in what was a good all round team effort.
This week presents another challenge against another Div 1 side Belconnen.
