It is with extreme deep sadness that we advise the passing of former Triple 1st Grade Premiership Coach (1998, 1999, 2000), Life Member and Wall of Fame Member - James Dore.
Many may not have known James, but those who had the honour of being part of his time with our Club will have very fond memories of a wonderful, caring and thoughtful individual, a passionate footy person who always spoke highly of his time with the Tigers Club and the people he met within.
James passed peacefully at 3.08am, Sunday 14 July 2024, aged 76 surrounded by family members on the Sunshine Coast, Queensland.
Further details will be forwarded as they become known, but it expected a Memorial Service will be held in Victoria – the State he cherished.
His history is told in the below Tigers Wall of Fame information when inducted in 2005 along with an interview with James conducted by Tigers Record Games Holder Tony Wynd to commemorate the Tigers 100th Year Celebrations
