There have been 15 winners of the Mulrooney Medal League Best and Fairest

that have come from tiger land and Will Griggs became the 16th at last Sundays online vote count.

The local junior had a standout season for the club in only his 2nd year back following a 5 year stint at the Griffith Swans. Playing mainly midfield in 2021, Griggs game went to another level this year and like a good bottle of wine seems to be getting better and better as the years progress.

He now sits among the legends of the club who have taken out the Leagues highest award joining the likes of Wynd, Vizy, Daniher and Evans to be honoured on the Legends Stand Wall of Fame.

Will Griggs career so far:

In the women's 1st Grade, the club also had some good results with 5 players finishing in the Top 10 of the vote count.

Kate Mcgrath showed how solid her season was placing equal 5th along side the every consistent and perennial vote getter tigers skipper Ella Ross.

Young guns Jessica Stramandinoli and Cynthia Hamilton continue to be stand outs placing equal 7th with Jayde Hamilton also

polling well to come in 10th.

Evergreen veteran Lauren Flakelar continues to impress and lead the up and coming reserve grade women's team by example placing 6th in this years count, while a call out to former Tigerette and now Woden Blues star Kahli Jensen who finished 5th in the count.

Lachlan Fitzpatrick polled well in the Rising Stars to finish 7th while Dayne Posthuma just finished out side the Top 10. Zack Levine and Jonathon Silver also amongst the votes.

The tigers have added some class to their ranks with the signing of former Lavington Panther and Canberra Demon Jack Nunn.

The former Lavington junior played a big part in the seniors for the Panthers until Kade Klemke convinced Nunn to join the Canberra Demons NEAFL team in 2018. Jack then decided to join the Gungahlin Jets full time in 2019.

Injuries over the past two seasons has limited Jack's game time with 2021 only yielding 2 games. Having now been finally cleared to play again, Jack felt he has one more chance to crack in and give it everything and has decided the tigers is the place for him. We welcome Jack and wife Bec to our Tigers Family.
