Following a couple of solid games against the Albury Tigers last weekend, the signs are good leading into Round 1.

With multiple premiership players unavailable for the game and numbers a bit light on, the Super Twos started the day off with a good win which then led into the 1st Grade game with the boys going down by 5 goals.

The big plus was the integration and performances of the new players to the club, our graduating Under 18s from 2020 and the efforts of the players from our affiliate club Googong.

As mentioned, we now head into week 2 of trials with a visit from another Oven's & Murray League Powerhouse the Wang Rovers who are coached by former Sydney Swans 244 game legend Daryn Cresswell.

This is sure to be another cracking game and despite the Tigers again being light on with players, they should be better with last weeks game now under their belts.

We also see our Women's teams in action for the first time in 2021 with the club hosting Sydney Premier League Club Southern Power and the Woden Blues from the AFL Canberra Community League.

There has been a big turnover of players for the Tigerette's from the end of the 2020 season as they head into a rebuild phase following 4 straight 1st Grade Grand Final appearances.

It's exciting that despite the big turnover of players, there are still 60 players on the books with a host of new players to the sport as well as the picking up our graduating RS girls from last year.

This weekend's games will be a great test for the girls and will showcase many new players to senior football.

So if you have nothing on this Saturday, call down to Aulich Park and enjoy 4 games of footy with entry free and Full Bar & Canteen Available plus Merchandise on sale.
